So, what are the advantages of employing a 2 player team as opposed to play using the individual player?
Two players working in tandem, wagering independently (yet within a preset wagering framework). Yes, when two players using two different moderately successful approaches wager together--at the same table and at the same time, several things happen:
One, many of their wagers will cancel each other out.
Two, when their wagers coincide, their win percentage is several points higher than the expected win average of either of the two (considered independently).
Three, not only do you have the other preset personal limits in place on time spent at the table, etcetera, but you introduce a final ingredient of limitation. Namely, that in addition to simply playing their different play selections, each of the two team members is there monitoring the other's actions (regarding level of bets, play time, and general stress levels). In so doing, they each provide a final buffer against discipline failure. This one feature ALONE makes a solid two player approach superior to any "Individual Play Approach" ever conceived.
